Sillitas, charlas, bordados i sobretaules
Final degree project
“Sillitas, charlas, bordados, i sobretaules” is a project based on an experimental design methodology that seeks to raise questions and criticize the rhythms and conditions of contemporary society compared to the generation of our grandparents.

This research arises from my own need to reconnect, slow down, and distance myself from technology and its immediacy. Starting with four raw materials such as clay, metal, thread, and wood, and through a collaborative work process in which listening and manual practice have been the main tools.

The constellation of objects that has been designed focuses on the past and the present. Plates, cutlery, napkins, and chairs – everyday symbolic objects that embody the connection between design and art, the relationship between tradition and trend, the link between raw material and knowledge, and above all, pieces that speak of my grandparents and myself.
